IT-Enterprise Among the Top 3 Digital Products Ukrainian Businesses Choose to Replace Russian Software

IT-Enterprise digital solutions have ranked among the top three most popular platforms adopted by Ukrainian companies to replace outdated and insecure Russian software. This is according to a study conducted by the IT Ukraine Association and Ukrainian Catholic University within the framework of the “Hostile Software” project.

According to the findings published by the IT Ukraine Association, the IT-Enterprise ecosystem — including ERP IT-Enterprise and MASTER:Accounting — became one of the market leaders in replacing toxic software, alongside two leading international systems operating in Ukraine. The study covered businesses across multiple industries, including agriculture, finance, retail, energy, and IT.

The report concludes that despite differences in company size, businesses face a common challenge: legacy digital systems no longer meet the demands of the modern market. When selecting new software, companies primarily evaluate functionality and ease of integration. The top five criteria include implementation and customization costs, interface usability, compliance with Ukrainian legislation, technical support, and the reliability of the software vendor.

“Today, the market is moving away from the illusion that there is no alternative to hostile software. Our mission is to prove this through strong implementation cases. Within the IT-Enterprise ecosystem, we are not simply replacing software — we are creating the foundation for full-scale business digital transformation,” emphasized Oleh Shcherbatenko.

The study also highlights that secure software has become a critical component of cyber resilience and business continuity. According to CERT-UA, 5,927 cyber incidents were processed last year alone, with Russian-origin software frequently serving as the entry point for attacks. Although more than 70% of Ukrainian companies still use toxic software, businesses are becoming increasingly aware of the risks related to financial data and customer databases. Additional drivers for migration include building long-term reputations in international markets, strengthening technological resilience, and complying with the official list of prohibited software published by the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.

As previously reported, on January 9, 2026, the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine published an official open list of prohibited software. Rejecting software solutions that may contain hidden vulnerabilities or be used for espionage is considered a key requirement for ensuring the resilience of both the state and businesses under conditions of ongoing russian aggression.

To accelerate market migration, IT-Enterprise continues developing solutions for companies of all sizes. For large enterprises, the company offers the comprehensive IT-Enterprise ERP platform. For SMEs and public-sector organizations, the MASTER product line (MASTER:Accounting and MASTER Online) has been introduced, while the cloud-based SaaS model enables onboarding of more than 50 new clients every month. Currently, all verified products of the group — including the Signy electronic document management service and the SmartTender.biz procurement platform — are available to Ukrainian entrepreneurs via the Diia.Business marketplace.

Earlier, the visual communications agency Top Lead presented the large-scale study “AI Focus 2026.” The report analyzed real-world AI implementation scenarios across key sectors of the economy and their impact on operational efficiency — from agriculture and IT to retail, energy, and logistics. In the ranking of companies undergoing AI transformation, IT-Enterprise was included in the highest category: “Advanced Stage of AI Adoption.” According to the study, only 38.9% of Ukrainian companies have reached this level, primarily large enterprises.
