IT-Enterprise Experts Share Practical Experience of AI Transformation in Ukrainian Business at the 3rd KPI Summer School

As part of its membership in EDIH Kyiv HiTech*, IT-Enterprise experts took part in the 3rd Summer School “Artificial Intelligence 2026: Present and Future,” organized by the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) during the final week of summer. The event brought together more than 170 participants to explore one of the year’s key technology trends — Agentic AI and the development of autonomous AI agents for business use cases.

IT-Enterprise speaker Oleksandr Ochkasov, AI Analyst and expert at UA Tech School IT-Enterprise, told the Summer School participants that IT-Enterprise customers currently generate more than 450,000 AI requests every month — approximately one request every six seconds. They use around 45 active AI agents from the IT-Enterprise AI Assistant Factory. These AI assistants help automate processes across a wide range of industries, from logistics to defense. They have already been implemented by leading organizations such as Ukrposhta, WOG, YASNO, Epicentr, the Come Back Alive Foundation, and others.

By implementing AI technologies, Ukrainian businesses and nonprofit organizations are achieving tangible results while addressing workforce shortages caused by the war. The use of IT-Enterprise AI agents has already enabled organizations to:

• Reduce manual work by up to 90% when processing documents of varying complexity;
• Achieve operational accuracy of up to 99.5%.

The speaker also highlighted the critical importance of data quality and cybersecurity:

• “Garbage in, garbage out.” For an AI assistant to work effectively, it must be provided with accurate and verified data. Poor data quality and unreliable information are among the key reasons why many AI projects fail to deliver the expected results.
• Cybersecurity. When developing any AI agent, it is critical to consider security requirements and ensure data protection throughout the data transmission process.

The key message from the IT-Enterprise speaker to the KPI Summer School participants was that the true value of artificial intelligence lies in freeing people from routine tasks so they can focus on strategic and creative challenges.

“There is no need to be afraid of change. When the first automobiles appeared, coachmen were also concerned that they would lose their jobs. Instead, the world gained an entirely new and large-scale industry. Implementing AI is always an exciting and creative process. Do not be afraid to experiment and create. The key is to always ask yourself: what specific routine problem will your AI agent solve? Build solutions that genuinely change the world rather than simply adding another project to your portfolio. The future of technology is in your hands,” emphasized Oleksandr Ochkasov, AI Analyst and expert at UA Tech School IT-Enterprise.
